My philosophy is to give every client the sort of control over their own image that I would want over photos of myself. Which is to say, I am happy to indulge the neurotic perfectionist in you.

- I will share with you full rights to your photos, so you can use them and alter them in whatever way you like.

- If you don't like how you look in a picture, I'll either change it to your satisfaction, or delete it permanently (none of that "well, I like it, so it's staying up on the internets for the world to see" crap.)

- I will give you your "throw-away" shots in a separate file rather than deleting them before you get to see them. I know it's standard practice for photographers to make the tough decisions about which shots to delete in the case of redundancies, and I will make my picks, but I won't presume to be the final word. I want to leave the ultimate decisions up to you. (I found that this was important to me in the case of my own wedding photos. For instance, if two shots were almost identical, but in one, I thought I looked ever so slightly better, and in the other, I thought my husband looked ever so slightly better, it was important enough to me to keep both photos, and perhaps use Photoshop to combine the better elements of each.)

- I think a little bit of retouching can go a long way, and pride myself on being able to make you look flawless and natural at the same time. I meticulously edit every photo, but I won't give you an over-shopped, over-airbrushed, GlamourShots look (unless that's actually what you're looking for). If you want to look a little thinner, or like you have slightly more hair, well, I'm able to do that--without making the photo not-you.
