    FLC says:

"Andy was actually born in the stomach of a humpback whale after his parent's boat got swallowed whole. Over the course of many many years he learned to survive off of the other sea animals that the whale would partially digest.

Surprisingly, he managed to do so, and all the while take parts of the broken-down boat and turn it into a huge cooking apparatus, where he learned all of his cooking skills. In a final f-you to his whale-born lifestyle and progression into the non-whale world, he set the remnants of the boat-grill-thingy on fire and cooked the whale from the inside out while escaping through the blowhole.

There was a gigantic feast and even to this day you can ask him for a chunk of frozen whale carcass. If you don't know Andy well enough to talk to him, though, it's okay, because his story is being produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and will star Matt Damon as Andy...

His biggest claim to fame in the non-whale world: He won a demolition derby on a Fisher Price tricycle while drinking a fifth of Jack Daniels and successfully playing a loner in euchre with no bowers... I shit you not!"

    ideolocator says:

"Born into a racing family, the desire to be the fastest round the track was instilled into him at a very early age. It's almost as if Castrol R racing oil flowed though his veins, like heroin.

Even as a child of four he would impress the other kids in nursery by riding no-handed on his tricycle around the playground, blindfolded.

His late teens saw him winning prestigious evens on the now classic circuits such as Brooklands and fame inevitably followed. But with it, also heartbreak loneliness and alcoholism.

Some say his early death was a blessing, bringing him notoriety and a now legendary status amongst the racing community. Other say he was tragically cut down while still in his prime. Why he took his own life in such a brutal and public manner we'll never know.

Also mixed a damn fine Whiskey Canada Dry"

"In 1972 a crack commando was sent to prison by a military court for a crime he did commit. This man promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the London underground. Today, still wanted by the government, he survives as a soldier of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire the Eviltwin."

    bashford says:

"On November 9th, 1888, eviltwin followed his final victim back to her one-room hovel in Miller's Court, in the East End of London. In the two hours that followed, the serial killer Andy Beaumont becomes the personification of evil, an evil which rings through history for 117 years.

The unspeakably brutal murder of Mary Kelly shocked Victorian society and has haunted the world for over a century. eviltwin is presumed to have never been caught and has been the subject of much speculation and controversy.

That aside - Andy is a really nice bloke."

    _maracuja says:

"Most historians believe that the prince Vijaya came to Sri Lanka from Orissa, in north-eastern India, during the 6th century BC (some historians trace the origins back some 25,000 years) and started to rule the native people in Sri Lanka, who were known as the Veddas. A nearly continuous written history exists in the book "Mahavamsa" from this point on and it describes the Sinhalese kingdom started from king Vijaya and his followers. It also describes a minister of Vijaya, Anuradha, who establishes the village of Anuradhagamma which later becomes Anuradhapura and becomes the capital of Sri Lanka a few centuries later. Archeological evidence is somewhat contradictory to this account, showing continuous settlement in the Anuradhapura area from the 10th century BC onwards with people living in the area having knowledge of agriculture, metallurgy, and livestock breeding. Buddhism arrived from the Indian subcontinent in the 3rd century BC at the hands of Arahath Mahinda Thero, missionary of Indian Emperor Ashoka and spread rapidly. Buddhism and a sophisticated system of irrigation became the pillars of classical Sinhalese civilization (200 BC-1200 AD) that flourished in the north-central part of the island, with capitals at Anuradhapura (from c. 200 BC to c. 1000 AD) and Polonnaruwa (c. 1070 to 1200). After the Polonnaruwa era, the capital moved frequently, with the entire island being rarely unified. Parakramabahu IV, who ruled from Kotte, was the last Sri Lankan king to rule over the entire island."
