My name is EUGEN STEIER.

I am a german Goldsmith and Silversmith who lives and works in Barcelona, Spain

I was born October 1977 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where i spent the first 11 years of my life

In 1988 my family moved to Kreuztal, Germany, close to Colone.

In 1999 i started studying Goldsmith in a Bauhaus - orientated school named "Staatliche Berufsfachschule für Glas und Schmuck" in Kaufbeuren, Germany

In summer 2002 - Graduation as Goldsmith
In summer 2003 - Graduation as Silbersmith

After finishing my studies in Germany i moved to Barcelona, Spain, where i still live and work

Since 2003 - I have been working for a spanish jewelry designer as a freelancer

In April 2005 - I went to Lisboa, Portugal to give a three month Silversmith - Workshop in the art school "ARCO"

Since 2006 - I give Goldsmith-Workshops in a "Gallery - Workshop" named "La Casa de la Espiral" in Barcelona ( casaespiral.carbonmade.com ) , which was founded as cultural association by an argentinian couple, Fernando De Blasi (sculptures), Nora López Millán (paintings) and me

May 2008 -- Finally the book is published!!!

It is called "Jewelry design and illustration" in spanish: "Diseño de Joyas, paso a paso" My job was to guide the beginner through step-by-step jewelry illustration basics with drawings and words. I aslo participated in this book as an artist with my jewelry
