My name is Helen, and I live in Winston-Salem with my husband Bob and our cat Summer. We are fortunate to have almost two acres near the center of the city, with woods, a creek, lots of songbirds, an occasional wild turkey, and nesting red-tailed hawks.
Since finding Flickr (thank you, Adam) I've discovered a wonderful community, and some really really interesting photographs. And it's interesting what I've learned about myself: if someone had asked me months ago what kind of photographs I like, I'd not have known the answer. Now, I can look at my "favorites" and see the common themes.
