  "the first of sao's photos that i saw was one of the spiral stairs shots from a lighthouse in the phillipines, I had just arrived to be the production designer of a movie, that Sao/Sammy had been hired to Art Direct, the staircase photo was to have been merely informational not necessarily artistic, but he can't help it...i'm happy to say that i firmly believe that we will be friends forever..... sabato"
