Contemporary Painting

I am a self-taught contemporary Dominican artist. Many of my relatives are architects, fashion designers, publicists, interior decorators and musicians, so I guess this attraction to Arts runs in our veins. My admiration to relevant Art styles in History, such as Renaissance, Mannerism, Baroque, Romanticism, Impressionism and Realism, are present in all my oil paintings. These styles have great influence in my modern artwork.

Human figure is what attracts my attention mostly. Frequently I give fantastic backgrounds to my figures, and there is always a story, a memory or a moment that sticks to my mind, that I must put down on canvas. I do so, but with with a special, uncommon twist.
