I'm esoteric in nature and a perfectionist who's easy going (I suppose that could be an oxymoron, but whatever...), except when it comes to bad HDR. I will try to educate whenever possible and find it funny when someone will quote me a website or something to support their bad work. While not an expert, I have been trained and worked in digital photography, and probably have more training than the majority on this site, and as such, have a bit more knowledge on the technical aspects of HDR photography than the said majority (if you see the amount of bad and so called HDR out there, you will understand). I worked in photography as a technical lab specialist but the hours were crap even though the pay was decent. My equipment equipment includes:

Nikon D200
Nikon 18-55mm lens
Sigma 10-20mm lens
SB-600 flash
Nikon Coolpix 5400 (which shoots Raw)
Nikon EM film SLR w/50mm 'E' series lens (which is just collecting dust)
Tripod (total must)

Photoshop CS3
Photoshop Elements 5(which I really don't use ever)
Nikon Capture NX - (Capture NX is soooo buggy thats its completely frustrating me. I love the program, but its memory management sucks - how can a 20mb file even with 10 adjustment layers use up to 6GB of space on my hard drive? Plus, the crop tool frequently keeps crashing the program . - aaarrrrgh!)

I shoot mostly landscapes, and am only starting to get into doing portraits. For landscapes, I'm getting more into HDR (TRUE HDR) - not this fake HDR crap that ppl seem so proud of. Using a program like Photomatix that is used for HDR doesn't make your photo an HDR photo. Anyways, enough of my rant. As for my people shots, I LOVE colour!!! or B&W as well LOL. Those fashion pics that are all bronzed do nothing for me as it perpetuates an image that is unrealistic and unatainable.
