For as long as I can remember, I have owned at a camera. As I grew older, I formally studied photography - I experimented with the artistic and technical aspects of the medium in an attempt to more fully expose those things that cannot be expressed with words. Although I learned that a camera's most basic function is to capture and record light, each moment of light that my camera witnesses is something very personal to me, a piece of my memory. I say then very literally that this Flickr gallery is a collection of memories, a collection of personal experiences that have composed my life in recent years. In this sense it is in fact my camera that owns me.
