My face was showered
with bleach so much so I
lost sight and awareness
of the planet I called
home flipping inside out
so that Hell and it's lakes
of fire were morphed
to suit my surroundings.
Somebody held my hand, but it didn't stop.
I tried again and again, but I kept falling into my body
with my skin singing in a searing harmony with erosion.
