So. I've had my Nikon D40 since the fall of 07, and absolutely love it. It was best camera for my price range at the time, and I couldn't be happier with it. My kit has grown since then, adding a 55-200mm lens in the spring of 2008, and an SB-600 speedlight at the beginning of 2009.
next on the list is a 50mm nikkor, either f1.4 or 1.8.
we'll see
