For those who'd like to use my photos according to the Creative Commons license, please make sure you abide by the license and attribute the photo to me in a visible way. The attribution should read something like: Photo by Erica Marshall of muddyboots.org (or link my name to that URL) -but the URL must be displayed as well as my name.
The reason I give away my photos for free under the Creative Commons license that I chose is for publicity, so in return for your use, please return the favor by adding my website as well as my name.

About Me:
I've been into photography for over 20 years starting with my Dad teaching me about composition while using a Fischer Price 110 camera with those one-time-use-only bulbs :-)... Then we researched and purchased a 35mm point and shoot and I learned to use that until I outgrew it as well. Then, while in high school, my Dad and I bought a film SLR together and I learned even more. When I moved out, I went back to a point and shoot again until my Dad gave me our SLR as a gift one day. Since then I've purchased a DSLR, and the freedom to shoot without worrying about wasting film and processing lead to even greater improvement.
These days I'm finally confident in my photographic abilities although I'll never forget those early lessons from Dad. His gift was a lifelong hobby that I hope to enjoy well into old age. ...And I'm sure there will be even more to learn between then and now, so if you have comments or critique on any of my photos don't hesitate to post it. (I'm open to whatever you have to say, no matter what your skill level!)
