My interest in photography is a bit of a family affair. My father is an aspiring amateur and my brother is a gifted professional with a top school behind him. Being in the military has taken me all over the world and I enjoy taking pictures along the way. For almost five years I've been using a Fuji Finepix S602 Zoom 3.0 mega pixel camera. It has served me well. But I've finally stepped into the D-SLR arena with a Canon EOS Rebel XTi. I can't wait to take it on my next adventure to see what I'll capture. For me this hobby is a way to document the things I've seen in my life and to maybe let my artistic side out.
**UPDATE**
I've now outgrown my Rebel and last September I purchased the Canon 7D. I love the way it feels in my hand and the control I have over my image making. I have a very understanding wife who is allowing me to further indulge this most expensive hobby.
