In my head, my residual self image if you like is something really spectaculary cool and charming, a mix of brad pitt and oscar wilde, dr who and jack kerouac, but, the truth is closer to something very different i guess, which looks more like me and sounds much more like... er, me.
To amuse myself over the years, i have drawn pictures and taken photos, i have played the bass guitar (badly) and have generally tried to take in as much of the world around me as i can without falling over...
Apparently according to my testimonials, i have a rather naff taste in music.
but is "its raining men" by the weather girls NOT the greatest song ever recorded? i mean really....
It seems appropriate to say what cameras i'm using...
some stuff is on the motorola V3 camera phone
other stuff is on a SiPix 640x480 webcam type thing and the remainder of the digital photos will be on the...er...jenoptik jdc 3.1 [lcd] (which i think came free with a subscription magazine...).
notebook stuff is scanned.
I have a case full of 35mm cameras/polaroid cameras in various stages of decay, which i have every intention of digging out and using. but til then its just the low res joy of the cheaper digital camera!
i am a full-time practicing/professional artist type, its what i do for a living. Flickr is a sketch book and a place for me to explore new ideas and although selling work through this site is discouraged, i'm sure no-one will mind me saying that all images, photographs and illustrations are available as prints and can be supplied on paper or canvas ready to hang.
