PHOTOGRAPHY = Memories, Reflection and Prediction of Past, present and future.

To quickly summarize myself, I am a moody idealistic but gentle and old-fashioned, CG animator/artist/illustrator/storyteller/philosopher. A bit narcoleptic, a dreamer. Often lost in my own world.

LOVE comics, animations, good films and stories, dramas, and lots of visuals. Plus in FLICKR, I am a ninja photographer.

Also, personally, randomly speaking I think the Japanese and the French are brilliant artists, and I found much inspirations from them. As well as any other cultures, I am always inspired.

Future passions, to be a feature film director, as always inspired by Walt Disney and Miyazaki Hayao. Animation is always in my blood, it's just I got too many distractions along the way and I am still learning to focus.

Within FLICKR, photographing behaviour is my way to store memories and capturing moments and sharing it with people. Photographs is always a big part of my visual diary and source of inspirations.

How do I describe myself? Like a firework or firefly, I love to entertain people. Sharing my experiences, sharing passions.

Started taking photos seriously when I had my first digital camera in 1998. I had never been confident in taking picture until then. I think digital photography is one of things that push me not to be afraid to make mistakes. In fact often accident could lead to new invention.

I always love portrait, facial expressions, a naive, mysterious, smile, sadness, any kind of emotions. I like dramatic moments, cinematic quality photos. Nature teaches me beauty and lots of other things.

With every hundred pictures I took, I believe there are a couple that worth millions. As I believe it's all about TIMING and making lots of mistakes to get just the right one.

I am always learning from all FLICKR photos. FLICKR is my training ground. Please enjoy my photos + my photo-blog. Let's visual-dialogue with me.
