EnoughisEnough Nigeria (www.enoughisenoughnigera.com) is the largest Nigerian coalition of youth and youth-led organisations and has taken up this challenge with a focus to get out the youth vote in the 2011 elections. The coalition is led by young and prominent professionals drawn across different segments of the economy – art, entertainment, technology, fashion, the media, amongst others.
Our goal is civic participation and, for the next one year, we are focused on mobilizing young Nigerians to influence the 2011 general elections by voting for credible candidates and protecting those votes.
We are a non-partisan movement, which means we are not aligned to any political party and not aligned to any political candidate.

We took the first step by organizing the March 16 rally in Abuja which had thousands of youth from across the country in attendance and then the April 13 rally in Lagos, both covered by the national and international media, including the CNN, the BBC, Reuters, AP, Radio France, amongst others.
The next step involves other programmes to hold the government responsible until the elections in 2011, and a coordinated strategy that will allow us mobilize millions of young people from the grassroots to register, vote and protect their vote for their candidates of choice in the 2011 elections. We will mobilise young people to be strongly involved in voters registration, party primaries and the general elections. We will provide the general public, especially youth, with the information and direction they need to make fine choices in the elections.

We are doing this through our local government representatives and cell leaders across the country who work closely with the central management to monitor the voting process closely.
