I am a professional photographer. (I also spent nine years working as a professional photo editor, managing a library of 400,000 images for Galen Rowell, so if I've fav'd your photo, you really managed to impress me.)


To date, I have five coffee-table format books to my credit; The California Coast (2001) which won "Book-of-the-Year 2002" by the California Outdoor Travel Writers Association, Our San Francisco (2003), Yosemite & The Eastern Sierra (2004) and The Backroads of the California Wine Country(2006). My fifth book, Backroads of the California Coast was published in 2009. I just finished my sixth book, California; Yesterday & Today which is due out in late 2010. My client and publication credits currently include among others, the National Geographic Society, TIME Magazine, New York Times, Forbes Magazine, The North Face, Sunset, L.L. Bean, Subaru, Victoria's Secret, Pacific Gas & Electric, Miramar Productions, The Nature Conservancy, The Carnegie Museum of Natural History, and pro-bono work for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Int'l Commitee of Lawyers for Tibet.
