eNil loves travelling to experience the World and its cultures with his wife Mrs eNil. He tries his best to capture interesting fragments he sees through his lens.



I have been taking photographs since I was a child (not that long ago - or else my birth certificate has been forged ! ) - my first camera was a "Box Brownie" I bought at the village jumble sale ! - Went through the era of "Instamatic" and then really cut my teeth on an "Olympus Trip". Moved onto a "Pentax ME Super" SLR and made the move to digital in 2000. Just got back to SLR with my "Nikon D40" which has re-opend a larger world for me ! ! !
In March 2008 - I succumbed to the allure of a Nikon D200 in the window of my local photographic emporium and it had to come home with me (and an awesome 18-200mm VR Nikor lens too !)
I like to push beyond snapshots and love Nature, Landscapes, Architecture and Cats. In 2007 I created my first group in Flickr (scary moment ! ) and dedicated it to the fascinating world of Ginger Cats. It has really taken off thanks to the fantastic members and admin team (not including me as that would be big headed ! ) For the uninitiated, "Ginger" is a term used mostly in the UK - elsewhere in the world this colour for cats is "Orange", "Red", "Yellow", "Creamsicle" or "Buff" (depending on the shade of "Gingerness"). Such variety and education can be experienced with Flickr !
