Here's a "bit" about Me,....haha! ;D ........


First and foremost.....

♥ ♥ ♥ I LOVE DOLLS & TEDDY BEARS!!....OH MY!!!♥ ♥ ♥....ALWAYS HAVE....ALWAYS WILL!!....What more is there to say?!...hehe!! ; D

ALSO....I have had a LOOONG time "LOVE affair" with Photography, going back to Junior High School & my 1st Photography course, and the birth of my sons in the early '80's....I was HOOKED!! .....My first "real" camera was an Olympus SLR, which unfortunately a few years later I ended up selling, in order to put food on the table for my young sons & myself, at the time. I had LOADS of FUN with that camera in my early years of photography....experimenting with different aperature/f-stop settings, special effect lenses....you name it! This was not too long before Digital cameras and Digital Photography took over the Photography world.....for better or worse. ; /

SOOO.....it only came naturally for me to COMBINE my LOOOVE of Dollies & *ALL things CUTE* ....WITH my LOVE of Photography!! YAY!!! THANKS to Flickr, I am able to not only show my own work, but to see MANY OTHER talented Photographers' works & collections from around the World! :))

Currently, I have another Vintage Olympus (OM-1) SLR, which I inherited from my dear Dad, which I GREATLY enjoy using, when time allows. I am also currently enjoying my Canon Digital ELPH PowerShot (SD960 IS) for my doll & everyday photography, mainly for its ease-of-use, with my current time constraints. It has an overall "mid-range" image quality, though, as it's not a vintage SLR (my fave) or even a modern DSLR, and like many point-and-shoot cameras, it's not so great in the lower-light situations, but pretty darn good in good lighting......BUT....I can't really complain....it's nice enough and will have to do for now anyway. One day, though, I hope to own a really nice DSLR, to compare with my vintage Olympus SLR. ;)

I am FIRST and FOREMOST an ARTIST, going WAY back to my youth....and MANY years of Art classes and instruction, both formal and informal. My current Artistic passion is Jewelry Design/Making, with my SPECIALTY being Formal Occasion & Bridal Jewelry and Hair Accessories. I LOVE Custom Orders.....I am always OPEN to them! I also LOOOVE just coming up with a new design, out of nowhere but the depths of my heart, soul, and creativity! :)) ........

My YOUNGEST son, named after my Dad, is my PRIDE & JOY!!! He LOOOOOVES his Mama and is always looking after me! He makes me very proud! He will always be my "baby" and I LOVE him with ALL my heart and soul!! ♥♥♥

(2 German Shepherds, 1 Chihuahua, and a indoor old kitty)......They are actually MY BEST & MOST LOYAL FRIENDS & FAMILY MEMBERS TO ME!!!


I DIVE right into new endeavors with GREAT ENTHUSIASM!!.....whether it be a new hobby, or a new creative/Artistic outlet.....I DIVE right in....HEAD FIRST!! ; P

My (dearly-departed) Dad was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a WONDERFUL man. He taught me MANY things, that I hold dear to me still. He was the first man that I could trust COMPLETELY, and he taught me how to LOVE and what REAL LOVE and sacrifice really is. He ALSO taught me, in the last years of his life, what BRAVERY and COURAGE and UNDYING LOVE is. He has been gone now for over 17 years, but I STILL think of him and MISS HIM every single day! ♥♥♥♥
