"I want to write something special about ena and the swan so bear with me...today i bought a soundtrack to a strange 1969 czech film called 'Valerie and Her Week of Wonders"...i have never seen the film but the still photography and beautiful typography and design drew me in...and the music was a revelation, haunting, mysterious, other wordly...music for that moment when you are half asleep and half awake, which brings me to the photography of ena and the swan, she invokes those moments in twilight, between thought and expression, her work always captivates me, gently pulling me into her world...she creates those feelings and emotions i love the most, so if you can be open to these experiences slip inside her world..."
