I have always enjoyed taking pictures, and would bring a camera with me wherever I went as a teenager. I purchased my first 35mm camera – a Minolta XGM - in the late 70’s. At this time most of my photos were of my nieces and nephews playing in the park, special occasions, holidays, and vacations.
When digital cameras came out I purchased a 3.1 mp HP camera. Like most people I used it as a point and shoot camera set on the auto mode. Throughout the next several years, as the development of cameras improved I purchased several new cameras.
I currently own three digital SLR cameras - a Nikon D90, a Nikon D60 and an Olympus E510; as well as a Canon G10. I enjoy taking photos of wildlife, macros of flowers, sunrises and sunsets and landscapes. I currently shoot a majority of my pictures in manual mode and as raw files and use Adobe Photoshop to process my photos. I always have a camera with me, because I want to be ready for the next great photo opportunity.
