Dr. Emre OTLU MD was born and brought up in suburbs of Istabul. After graduation from Medical Faculty of Uludağ University - Bursa, he worked as a primary care physician in PERPA health center - Şişli and nearly one year later he started to work and still works as a family physician in Ortabayır ASM (Family Health Center)- Kağıthane. He is married with his Russian wife Aleksandra OTLU since 25.09.2010.

He is also an enthusiastic amateur photographer mostly tends to street and portrait photography. During his cyber life he acted as a grey hat hacker till 2002 and focused on cryptography and unix systems. Besides, he has designed many web sites since 1999 and contributed to lots of web projects. Also, playing Go is his addiction to kill his free time when he's not away from the keyboard. From time to time he plays on Kiseido Go Server as a 10kyu player.

Except Pop, RnB and Metal and that kind of noise, he tries to get pleasure from all types of music. He plays the "bağlama" for about 11 years and especially tends to listen classical music. Also, spending time in the kitchen by experimenting with new recipes and tasting different wines with his wife is the hobby what he enjoys much.

He's also interested in pets and he owns a 200L fish tank and currently keeping and breeding Heros severus, Corydoras aeneus, Thorichthys meeki and a group of Metynnis argenteus. He calls it as "A peaceful American Community Tank". Besides, he is a Gloster and Lancashire canary fancier and already started to breed Gloster canaries after a long break.
