Background:
I started taking photography seriously a little over 2 years ago upon receiving a DSLR from my supertalented & wonderful travel photographer friend Lucas. Much of what my photography is now started with him.

Goals & Inspiration:

I love how this modern art form gives me the ability to turn every day ordinary moments and objects into something timeless. Style-wise, I'm still in the experimental phase, with the manipulation of light as my new addiction. One thing definite is that I take photos of how I'd like things to be, not how they really are.

Inspiration (and all that good stuff) for photography stems from Alex Roman's architectural videoThe Third & Seventh. Creating an alternate reality through images, an eternal sanctuary for the mind, is the ultimate goal I have in dabbling in photography


When I'm not spending time on flickr gawking and being in awe of the sheer amount of talent here, I spend time reading reviews on Amazon on books and movies I'll never read or watch, and bargain hunting.
