I live, I work, I'm radioactive... but I did marry a mortician ; he's swell. And we had a kiddo; We are nuts about her. (And just plain nuts.)
My crazy husband conned me into going to school for my mortuary licenses; We moved to Texas where I attended the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. We worked in corporate funeral service for several years, and subsequently moved to semi-rural Oklahoma. Joy!
