I'm a too-old redhead going on sixteen, happy to mix with anyone and everyone just as long as they don't p___ me off. That's quite hard to do though, so don't worry about it.

One day (she says hopefully) I'm going to be the next Meg Cabot, because one of my big things in my life is writing teen and kids' fiction. I've written a novel and I'm currently looking for a publisher or an agent who's daft shrewd enough to take it on board. Meantime, I'm busy working on the next one.

I also play the saxophone - soprano, alto and tenor (no, not all at the same time) - and belong to Leicester's best concert band, 2nd Wind.
