So far, my greatest passion in photography has been the grand landscape and a true wide angle view, but I also enjoy motion studies of all kinds. When my baby girl was born, it renewed my interest in portraits and gave me a fabulous new subject! We'll see how that develops as she grows. :)

Flickr is my place to explore and to grow. Some photos I take to improve my technique, some I take because they reveal my soul. Both are important to my growth and they merge on my stream. I also take photos just to record daily life and generally, those don't end up on my stream (so far). I enjoy learning from other peoples' work here and just enjoying what eyes other than mine see. We all have something special to contribute.

I also have a Canon PowerShot A620, which I am hoping to retire now that I have a dslr. Hopefully my poor powershot will just rest in peace, at least until my husband gets a chance to mod it!

I try to keep in mind that it isn't the camera that matters, but the EYES! The camera can't see, it can only record.

Two notes: The dates on my film work are wrong because they are dated from the time they were loaded onto the computer or flickr; I don't have a 24 hour turn around. I try to remember to correct this, but usually forget. Just something to keep in mind while you view... Also, stealing is wrong. Just don't do it.
