I like foggy mornings, bonfires and long summer days at camp with the family. I like afternoon naps with David under a thick down duvet, and burying my face between his shoulder and neck and then taking a nice deep breath. I like the click of my camera's shutter and long exposures of waterfalls and star trails and peering up at the universe through my telescope. I like the ticklish fuzz on the dogs' noses and pawprints in the sand as they go galloping down the beach after driftwood fetch sticks. I like cheez whiz on toast with tons of butter, fresh baguettes, and cradling hot chai tea latte in cold winter hands. I like autumn, cable knit sweaters, the smell of ocean air, fleece jackets and wearing sandals in February. I like the cracking of eggs, the satisfying popping of bubble wrap and splashing through puddles in the truck. The cats are ok, I guess.
