Hi, My name is Elizabeth but everyone calls me Beth (Kiss song). I'm a SAHM of two kids and I live in Seekonk, MA Daisy Bag Creations was the very first line of bags which I began crafting several years ago. I had always enjoyed drawing, painting, and crafting, but after finding myself in a new town as a SAHM mom I began looking for an outlet for my creativity. I happened by a studio that was offering fashion sewing classes - I was immediately drawn to it. This became almost therapeutic for me as it was a place that I felt relaxed, and able to do something that I was not only had a knack for, but truly enjoyed.
Several months later, we found ourselves moving once again, but this time closer to the town I grew up in. I continued to spend countless hours nurturing this now runaway hobby of mine. Whenever I was able to steal a few moments I was sketching, sewing, or (my favorite) shopping for fabric. Friends and family members began asking about the things I was creating which spurred me to make a diaper bag for a friend that was expecting her first child. I was very pleasantly surprised by the feedback I received, and also for the requests from many people looking to give my bags as gifts. This prompted many hours of drawing and designing as well hundreds of yards of stitching to come up with the bags that would ultimately define my first line - Daisy Bag Creations. While this first line has evolved, primarily through the demands my word-of-mouth local market, it continues to be my baby. I have gone on to stitch bathroom sets, curtains, livingroom sets, cushions, baby items, bedding - all of which lend more to my schooling in interior design. Still, I always come back to my first love - creating fashionable, functional bags.
