After several years of putzing around with my digital SLR, I took a class in Fundamentals of Digital Photography from the New York Institute of Photography. The course was excellent, and gave me confidence to get off the "AUTO" mode and use shutter and aperture priority...also to look at all four corners of the viewfinder when composing the shot. nyip.com Course particulars, here:
