Capturing images from life has been a lifelong passion for me. I got my first Instamatic camera at an early age and never stopped snapping since. For a number of years I rode the Polaroid pony and I've got the shoe boxes to prove it. But when digital came of age I really began enjoying myself. I'm a big fan of Canon gear and use an EOS 40D with many different glass and gadgets.

Over the years I've developed a successful technique for event photography. Capturing the spirit of an event without influencing it is tougher than it sounds. Low light work is a lot of fun for me.

Born in Munich, but I've lived in northern California all my life. San Francisco and Marin are home. I'm partnered, with husbear, for about 15 years now.
