ABOUT ME
Structural engineer by day, full-time husband and father, and photographer and writer any time I can. More interested in the art and fun of photography than going full time. My work centers on using natural light and my subjects include the outdoors, structures, and fine art nudes; particularly combining the three. I work almost exclusively in black and white and process my own film and prints (nothing compares to the quality of a real print... you know, from silver halide crystals). I generally use medium format film (RB67) for the quality, but hike with a 35mm (Minolta 9000) camera.

I have a strong interest in working with people with real bodies and experiences, and am passionate about exploring the beauty of the human form, in all it's imperfection. Doing mainly TFPrint (yes, real prints, not that inkjet stuff) now with people who love the art aspect. I am open to working with people of all experience levels, and non-models who just want to express themselves naturally. I love the honest expression that comes when one does not hide behind their clothing.

PROJECTS
Come as you Are
Looking for people interested in exploring the realities of the human body. So often nude art utilizes models or editing/posing techniques that mask the reality of the human form. The intent of the project is to find the beauty in human imperfections; weight, scars, age, effect of pregnancy, life...just the way we are. Hope to do a book some-day. Nude Series Books
Series of books highlighting photos from different photographers. Many images were discovered online at flickr, however, I have contributions from a variety of other sources. The books will be published by Desert Lily Press (my imprint) and printed by Publishers Graphics. The marketing will be done on the POD website, Amazon, and on the majority of each photographers personal website, flickr account, etc... I am done with the first and have plans for several others (Nude Nature, Nude Structures, Nude Self). However, at this point, I am a little worn out from the first book and am planning to wait to see what the response is before I commit to another publication.

Nude Closeup Status
The first 100 will be printed by Dec 16-20.
