I've been taking photos with differing levels of intensity since about 1982. My current photo mania started in May 2006 and was sparked by the simultaneous discovery of autostitch and flickr.

My current camera is a Canon EOS 30D with a 18-85mm ESF lens.

I have owned or borrowed quite a few cameras over time, photos from which may show up here:

* a Leica (?) camera with completely manual control and a separate light measuring device

Canon AE1 with various lenses in particular a 24mm one; my first SLR; (stolen while sleeping in a park in Salamanca, Spain; yes, that was a bad idea, but I rather spent money on other things than lodging at the time)

Canon A1; (stolen from my apartment in Amsterdam)

* a Minolta (?) APS camera; (stolen from my house in Amersfoort; and that is going to be the last one!)

Canon EOS 30 (not D) with a Sigma 24-135mm; makes fine pictures, but the feedback cycle through the photo lab was just too annoying

* a Samsung Digimax ; first digital camera bought for too much money at the airport, since I wanted to shoot some pictures at a conference.

* a Samsung Digimax 401; second digital camera that was provided by Samsung to replace the previous one after it decided to completely shutdown; still operational, but no match to the EOS30D. But I took quite a few of my autostich work with this one; somehow autostitching hasn't been the same with the canon.

- A Panasonic DMC-FX01 that I borrowed for a while from Martin. Nice compact camera.

I appreciate comments on my photos very much, but please don't post photos in them.
