I'm a Ph.D. student in the Urban Affairs program at the University of Delaware. My research focuses on aviation and transportation policy, particularly regarding airport authorities. I hold an M.S. in Urban Policy Studies and a graduate certificate in GIS from Georgia State University.

I spent four years stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, as an officer with the 101st Airborne Division in the United States Army. I spent a year in Iraq as the Medical Planning Officer and Headquarters Company Executive Officer for an infantry battalion stationed just south of Mosul. In 2004, I coauthored the graphic novel war memoir War Haiku.

"Geoff Edwards is a former soldier and educator now attending graduate school in urban policy or something. He did a tour in Iraq then spent a year or two in the coolest little town in Kansas. Check out his single-issue blog (on black markets) at www.eeph.us."
