I’m an artist, self-taught photographer and cyclist, born profoundly deaf in Lambeth, London in 1985.

After getting inspired to do some photography again in 2005. I got drawn from digital to film, going back to basic realising the many potential that film still have to offer despite the advance in digital photography.
I brought myself a Holga from eBay because it’s quite cheap and a good start into the world of medium format. However the time and cost of processing the medium format negatives was a bit much for me to do regularly, so I decided to look around for alternated, a 35mm alternated called a LOMO LC-A.
It was at this point I really got drawn into the world of photography, ended up learning various technique, different way of processing films, and getting inspired to do different kind of photography, such as the large format photography.
I no longer have a digital camera after selling my Nikon D50 and gave my grandfather my Canon IXUS 30, especially since I have made a vow not to put up digital photos in Flickr in order to properly teach myself photography the hard way (or the easy way as some like to think).

I don't even have any ambition, I just don't believed in fate.

Spencer P says:
"One of the most creative photographers flickr has to offer.
Everyone can take pictures of London and it's people but not many people can do this successfully. Ed is one of them.
If you need one reason to shoot film for the rest of your life, let Ed be it."31st July, 2007

"edscoble is the resident grouch on most Lomo/Holga groups. Maybe thats why I like him, he'll speak his mind. He's usually the first to respond to any question and knows his stuff about most things Lomo.
He also takes a phenomenal amount of nice pictures :)"28th February, 2007

"As I'm quite in love with London's Underground, it was hard not to fall in love with this guy's absolutely amazing and inspiring photography from the Tube. Having seen his Underground streams, along with his other sets, I have great respect for him as a user of film and digital, and I am constantly inspired whenever I have a look through his Flickrstream."
