I was born in Milan, attended elementary school in the United States, and attended high school at the Liceo G. Nolfi in Italy. I returned to the United States to attend Boston University and subsequently Harvard University. I hold an Associates Degree from the Defense Language Institute (Monterey, California), a Bachelors of Science Degree from Excelsior College (Albany, New York), and an MBA Degree from Touro College (New York, New York).

I work for the US Department of Defense. Previously, I was the Director of Web Marketing/Design in Dublin, Ireland for the financial services division of First-e Group PLC one of Europe's largest e-Banks valued at 1.6 billion euros at the time (UNOfirst). Prior to that, I was the Webmaster/Electronic Marketing Specialist in Boston, Massachusetts for Process Software Corporation a 120 employee $25M software engineering firm.
