I use FLICKR more as a database and a tool for work. Some people have precious information in their pages and through their photos help me to identify species that I don´t know or have some doubts. As I work with plants I appreciate the exchange of information between members, specially on Flora of Portugal, Iberian and Mediterranean Flora, European Wild Orchids and the fabulous world of Cacti & Succulent plants.

Now living and working in Abrantes, in the centre of Portugal and where I have my plant collection. The majority of the photos came from plants that I cultivate.

Using concepts of organic gardening, ecology and combining plants with diverse natural materials i try to take advantage of their unique beauty and properties.

In conjuction with other members I am moderating the group “Flore Botanique”, dedicated to native species from all over the world.

Please, don´t use my photos for commercial use or make derivative works without my permission. Sometimes people ask me photos for websites, books or for educational purposes too. If you ask me first, the probability that I say “yes” is high!

Please, note:

If you like a photo, a simple comment or adding it as favourite is fine. I appreciate your comments and I usually see and comment the photos of my flickr contacts.

The pictures are free of discharge and you may print them as long as for personal use.
