I am a recent graduate of Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin, with a major in Environmental Biology. I grew up in Iowa City, Iowa, but currently live in New Orleans, Louisiana. I've always loved photography, and I've been actively photographing anything I can since my junior year of high school. I'm influenced by just about every photo I see, but the biggest influences have probably been Ansel Adams and Vincent LaForet, plus the thousands (probably) of photos i've looked at on Flickr.

My current camera is a Nikon D300 with 17-55mm f/2.8, 70-200mm f/2.8 VR, and 50mm f/1.8 lenses. I also have a Minolta X-570 film camera with 50mm f/1.7, 28-70mm, and 70-210mm lenses. I edit all my digital photos with Apple Aperture, and I'm attempting to teach myself Photoshop.
