I emigrated from Great Clacton, Essex, UK to Canada in 1967 and have lived the last 44 years in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. I bought my first digital camera in late 2005 and am totally hooked! I presently use the Olympus E-1 and E-3 with the 35 macro, 7-14, 11-22, 14-54, 70-300 and 50-200 SWD lenses. My main interest is landscape photography with a bit of nature and travel thrown in.

I've been an active member of the Abbotsford Photo Arts Club (APAC) since 1989. APAC hosts the largest two day photo seminar in Western Canada in October each year, 2011 will be our 34th seminar. Past guest speakers have included Freeman Patterson, (the late) Galen Rowel, Andre Gallant, Michael Orton, Bryan Peterson and George Lepp to name a few.

The seminar for 2011 will be on October 15th and 16th and will feature Darwin Wiggett as our keynote speaker. Check out our web site at www.apac.bc.ca around the end of March this year for more infomation.

I appreciate having my photos invited to groups but tend to shy away from ones where a condition of posting is to comment on other images. I always try to browse a groups pages after posting to comment on images that catch my eye. I want to comment because I enjoy the image not because I have to. Please feel free to tear my images apart if you feel they could be improved, I don't mind and won't take offence!
