I grew up as a Mexican-American queer feminist in the Los Angeles area. I'm passionate about sociopolitical issues, especially coupled with the fashion industry and strongly believe in body-positivity. I previously made a living selling vintage clothing for fat women and men. The store was an experiment in creative reuse and providing a resource for plus size women interested in fashion, both present and past. Aside from fat fashion, I'm also an advocate for queer and mental health rights and awareness.While I've been writing and creating since I was a kid, I took my first foray into publishing with zines when I was a teenager. I write She's Not a Morning Person zine and used to run MAD People Distro for seven years.
I also currently blog at Skinned Knees, a body positivity and eating disorder recovery blog.
Other than that, I'm into knitting, baking, sewing, writing and sending letters, and horror movies.
I am completely in love with my cats.
