The East London Theatre Archive has created an invaluable database of performing arts resources, from playbills and programmes to press cuttings and photographs. By creating up to 15,000 digital objects, taken from East London Theatres, the project preserves unique endangered collections and makes them accessible to an academic audience.

ELTA is led by the University of East London and is funded by the JISC Digitisation Programme.
