The Eastern Trail is a 60 mile on/off road route that connects South Portland, Maine to Kittery, Maine. Ultimately, it the route will be completely off-road, and open only to non-motorized transportation.

The Eastern Trail is one section of the East Coast Greenway, which will ultimately be a 3,000 mile-long network of off road trails that will connect Calais, Maine to Key West, Florida.
