I'm a wife to a wonderfully supportive Navy man, and stay-at-home Mom to 3 wonderful (most of the time!) kids (9, 8, and 4 years). After working in Daycare for 8 years (and having a husband who is often gone for months at a time), I knew I wanted to be home with my children when they were young. My youngest is still home during the day and is always wanting to help "make a bakery"!

I've always been very detailed oriented and somewhat 'crafty'. Cookie decorating had interested me for years - seeing wonderfully decorated Sugar cookies in Martha's magazines always made me want to pick up a piping bag but I always thought it was way too difficult. When a friend received some cookies as a Christmas gift my interest was piqued and I had to try it. Well - 2 and a half years later, I haven't looked back!! Decorating cookies has become a bit of an obsession!

It took me a while to start posting on Flickr -- for a long time I was intimidated by the Awesome Talent of the Cookie and Cake artists on here. It's only been recently that I started to feel my cookies worthy enough to be here. The Comments and Feedback from everyone is awesome!

On a final note: I think I have a Flickr addiction..... I may need a 12 step program for this. :)
