Robert Hopkins is a Native Cherokee.He was born in North Carolina in the U.S. and currently lives in Ontario, Canada. He received formal art training at the Cleveland Institute of Art where he received a Scholarship and attended for several years.He is a Vet of the U.S. Army where he Served in Operation Desert Storm in 1991 and was Decorated many times for his service , receiving an Honorable Discharge. Currently his work includes Dreamcatchers, Medicine wheels, Mandellas,Drums, Shields, Rattles,Masks,Paintings on leather,slate,plates,rawhide,canvas, paper and skulls.
