61 going on 20. I reject what I see in the mirror! Growing old is inevitable; growing up is optional.

Stay young at heart, laugh often, love well. Never stop learning. I am currently a student at Twin Tigers Academy of Self-Defense in Brentwood, CA, and have made it to the rank of purple belt.

I've been a "Jill-of-all-trades" most of my life. I love trying out new things, especially crafts. I have experimented with everything from candle-making to woodworking, and plenty in between.

Ceramics and woodworking are my particular favorites, with jewelry making right up there. Photography is also a passion, and I grew up as a 'grease monkey' to my dad...so auto mechanics do not intimidate me.

I like to 'change up the mix,' to keep variety in my life, so you never know what might turn up in my Etsy shop.

In addition to information on my ceramics crafting, my crafts blog also contains several photography tutorials for beginners, to help clarify the very general information that is tossed around in various virtual chats and forums.

Just for grins and giggles, I also participate in the "Cat Blogosphere," in which people's cat's "write" blogs...complete with deliberate spelling and grammar errors attributed to the cats.
