I took up amateur photography fairly late in life and now it is almost a consuming hobby, with thousands of photos, some of which are offered here.
The eye of the camera and its owner make a unique and personal creation of each photo. Some photos fail to please and some succeed and one doesnt always understand how that works, though often after looking at what Flickr and its members offer, maybe one can discover why !
The reason why photography is such a thrilling hobby is that one does not always know what will emanate from one's efforts. It could be a masterpiece or a terrible flop.
I am slowly learning more about photography at Flickr and enjoy the wonderful world of photography created by interesting and talented people.
