DVJ Photo is a collection of all the photos I have taken over the years. I do mostly Model/Portfolio work, with some cosplay, video production, and artistic/abstract work.

Please be aware that all people in my photos are models, professional and amateur. These are not pictures of girlfriends, wives, or any other sort of male/female relationship. Any sexual or rude remarks about or toward the model will be deleted and you will be blocked.

Philosophy and History
I have been taking photos off and on for 20 years, but only really got into it since 2004.

Most photoshoots I do fall into two categories; portfolio and theme.
Portfolio shots are just that; a collection of photos to help you promote yourself. Theme shoots usually tell a story. Some theme on my flickr page are:

Photostream
The photostream consists of all the photos I have uploaded. I post pictures at a whim, but generaly when I have new photos, I will post a "teaser" set and then more over the week.

Collections
The collections on the right side represent a model or theme. They are the best way to view the following:

New and theme Shoot Gallery: This contains all of my different themes from 2011, or the most recent photographs. Some are one time shoots, others are ongoing.

Theme Shoot Gallery 2002 to 2010: My collection of theme shoots since I started.

Inspiration Models: These are the models who currently inspire me to do better as a photographer and as an editor.

Model Gallery: A showcase of every model I have worked with.

Past Inspiration: Models that have inspired me in the past.

Art and Promotion Gallery: All the sets that contain comissioned work or artistic endevors.

Beauty Eternal: Based upon a quote from a French poet, these are photos of the different kinds of beauty in the world.

Retromatic: Photos of models and things made up to look like, or from, prior to the 1990's.

Theme Shoots: If you post more than one photo of a person, place, or thing, it's a theme.

Inspired and Stylish: True artistic photos, everything staged, nothing candid.

Top 25 Views: A place to post your top 25 most viewed photos, either of all time, or from the last 24 hours.

If you are a model (amateur, semi-pro, professional), Cosplayer, or cosplay group, live in Maryland, DC, or Northern Virginia, I would love to take your photo.

I do charge, but I am always willing to talk about a time for CD deal. For your time and effort, I will provide you, free of charge, every photo (good, bad, ugly) taken on the day (or days).

You can use the photos for your portfolio, website, or flickr page, with a credit back to me. If anyone offers to buy or use the photos for profit, I must be contacted. There will be a model release form that has all the details.
