I'm a Painter/Illustrator/Photographer, living on the South Coast of England, near Brighton. My home is the top half of an old Victorian house which faces the sea and I live with my wife Linda (who's a poet) and my rather stupid dog. Plus rather a lot of clutter including about 2000 books.

I started taking photographs when I was 11 or 12 and I've never stopped, although I've explored a number of other directions as well. Mainly painting and illustration - although I was a drummer in a number of soul and rockbands for a number of years.

Nowadays my photographs are mainly used as references for my paintings, although from 1975 - 1985 (while living in New Zealand) I concentrated on paintings which were mainly based on nostalgia. Did quite well too - regularly selected for shows at the NZ Academy of Fine Arts.

Linda and I have lived in numerous places, including New Zealand, Australia, the deep SW of France and England, where we live once again.

After a period of committed photography, I am once again painting to the exclusion of anything else, and simply using my photographs to create portraits, and my collection of early erotic photographs to create erotic illustration.
