Scott Leach says:
"What I like most about Duncs pictures is that they are so different to what I would think of taking. It really is great to be inspired by someone whose work differs from your own. He really has an eye for bringing out the beauty of seemingly dull places.
His excellent post processing skills also do not go a miss!"29th June, 2008

RichBos says:
"Dunc's one of my old skool Flickr contacts who I ran into online after a Humber Bridge shoot a few years ago, since then I've continually been in awe of his shots from around the Humber Estuary. Nobody else comes close to his amazing eye and feel for the area which he conveys with such breathtaking photography.
I'm really pleased I had the good fortune to meet him before I left the UK and would really suggest you do the same ( meet Dunc for a brew that is, although leaving the UK for a while is quite a good idea too )"23rd February, 2008

CMP73 says:
"One of my biggest sources of inspiration on Flickr.
Dunc consistently sets the bench mark.
Shots of epic scope and post process to die for.
There isn't a duff shot in his photo stream."10th December, 2007

Jam Adams says:
"I always look forward to seeing Dunc's pics on my contact list. He has a knack at spotting subjects which would otherwise pass me by and through doing so and has taught me to pay more attention to my surroundings. His urban landscapes of Hull are some of the best I have seen, and along with his excellent post-processing work provide me with a consistent and regular source of inspiration."
