Hi. I picked up photography as a hobby to scratch the artistic bug, poetry being dry for a while. I am drawn mostly to natural scenes although I am trying to expand my horizons. I live in Michigan but travel all over for work. I am originally from the Seattle area.

I'm fascinated by wetlands, unusual colors, beauty in bleak things, places no one goes, the light that comes through the window in the rain, sunrises over sunsets, the color green, the color gray, russian poetry, bulgakov, what other people see as beautiful, and learning from watching.
