I'm a retired accountant with a passion for bird/nature photography.

While I appreciate and admire other forms of photography, I am primarily interested in bird/nature images. Since birds are my primary interest, most contacts I choose to make are also bird photographers. Some of these contacts also shoot other forms of photography but birds are usually a major portion of what they shoot. I seldom comment on non-bird/nature photos as I don't feel necessarily qualified to do so. I also don't comment on a contact's photo just to "pay them back" for a comment. An image must be of sufficient quality in one way or another for me to make an honest comment. I expect my photos to be assessed in the same way by others. I try to view at least a portion of the streams of everyone who comments on my photos. If a photo meets the above qualifications, I will likely comment on the viewed photo.

All photos I post are of wild birds/animals unless otherwise noted. I also do not bait birds or use temporary perch setups.
