Dear readers of my profile !

My name is Daniel Schopphoff and I live in the city of Meschede in Germany. In Meschede there is the district administration for the beautiful Hochsauerland, a region of highlands between the cities of Dortmund in the West and Kassel in the East.

I enjoyed taking photos since I was quite young and the invention of the digital cameras made it possible for me to take more pictures and by that to improve the results (i hope you think the same when looking at my photostream ;-)).

Another very important hobby of me is the German hard coal mining industry that I support with my homepage www.pro-bergbau.de. One of my dreams is to walk the Way of St. James from France to Santiago de Compostela. Maybe one day I will manage to do so...
